Construction Details

• Available Fiber Types: Single-Mode (G.652.d) and Multi-Mode (OM2, OM3, OM4) in configurations of 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24 cores.

• Buffer Tube: Central PBT (Polybutylene terephthalate) loose tube filled with a thixotropic jelly compound.

• Water Protection: Core is wrapped in water-swellable tape to block moisture ingress.

• Armoring: Corrugated steel tape (0.155 mm ± 0.015) for high crush resistance and rodent protection.

• Strength Member: Auxiliary glass yarn for enhanced tensile performance.

• Outer Sheath: 1.35 mm Black MDPE & HDPE (rated to ASTM D 1248 type II class C) for premium UV and weather protection.
