Flexible Deployment & Extended Reach This sensor offers instant “Plug & Play” integration via one of the switch sensor channels on the back of any compatible Room Alert monitor. If you need to monitor remote areas, the standard 25′ (7.62 m) leader cable can be extended up to approximately 900′ (274.32 m) using standard speaker wire, twisted pair, or any reliable low-voltage 2-wire cable. This makes it incredibly easy to place the sensor cable exactly where you need it—whether that is on a different floor, above a drop ceiling, or beneath a raised floor.
