ADSS-FL-F01 Flat Drop Cable

The PAMIX ADSS-FL-F01 Flat Fiber Cable is an All-Dielectric Self-Supporting (ADSS) drop cable specifically engineered for small span aerial FTTH (Fiber to the Home) applications, duct installations, and local networks. Utilizing a central loose tube design with non-metallic FRP strength members, it provides a highly reliable, lightweight, and lightning-resistant solution for last-mile connectivity.

General Construction & Design

• Core Configuration: Features a PBT (Polybutylene terephthalate) central loose tube filled with a thixotropic jelly compound to protect the optical fibers from moisture.

• Strength & Suspension (Non-Metallic): Integrates two FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) auxiliary strength members for excellent self-supporting capabilities without the conductivity risks of metal.

• Outer Sheath: Enclosed in a single Black MDPE & HDPE outer sheath (compliant with ASTM D 1248 type II class C) with a thickness of 1.1 ± 0.1 mm, providing exceptional sun and UV protection.

• 4 Core (SM G.652.d): 2.0 mm Tube / 1.6 mm FRP / Approx. Outer Diameter: 4.4 x 7.7 mm (± 0.2)

• 8 Core (SM G.652.d): 2.15 mm Tube / 2.15 mm FRP / Approx. Outer Diameter: 4.6 x 9.0 mm (± 0.2)

• 12 Core (SM G.652.d): 2.15 mm Tube / 2.15 mm FRP / Approx. Outer Diameter: 9.0 x 9.0 mm (± 0.2)

Performance Standards & Warranty

• Durability & Strength: Delivers a tensile strength of 1,400 N during installation and 700 N during operation (IEC 60794-1 E1). Withstands impact tests up to 1 meter at 10 N and features a 20xD cable bend radius.

• Attenuation (SM 9/125 G.652.d): Maximum 0.436 dB/km at 1310 nm and Maximum 0.21 dB/km at 1550 nm.
